Interact Club

Who We Are

Interact club is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 14 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.

Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of:

  •   Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
  •   Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
  •   Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
  •   Advancing international understanding and goodwill

REMINDER: To be considered an official member of Interact Club you need to complete AT LEAST 10 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE WITH THE CLUB PER SCHOOL YEAR and attend AT LEAST 4 MEETINGS PER SCHOOL YEAR!

Need community service hours?  Then you need us!  Meetings are every other Tuesday in the old gym.  Check CHSTV, Schoolloop, or our website for additional information and meeting dates. Interact Club is a service and social club which will help guide the Interactors in developing local and international service projects. Interact will reflect the nature of an organization that exists in 110 countries and promotes active service at home and abroad. With almost 200,000 members and more than 8,600 clubs worldwide, Interact provides a powerful force of youthful enthusiasm and energetic service. Interact will carry out local serv ice projects that benefit its community such as fundraisers for a variety of causes, blood drives, benefit concerts, and visits to nursing homes, orphanages, and homeless shelters. Interactors also develop international service projects that expand their understanding of the world and promote goodwill.
