The Spring Musical will be FOOTLOOSE!

Drama Club and Improv Club News

BRAVO CHS THEATRE for placing 5th out of 68 schools at the DTASC Fall Festival at Carson High School on October 24.  Advanced Technical Theatre students won 2nd place in Sets Lights and 5th place in Publicity and Graphics.  Advanced Theatre students placed 4th for their scene from St. Joan in the Irish Playwrights category and three others groups placed in the top ten:  The Laramie Project (Theatre for Social Change), LIttle Shop of Horrors (Musical), and Shipwrecked, An Entertainment (Group Humorous). 

Congratulations to the Pre-Advanced Theatre Class for their success at the RoleAbout Festival at Mission Viejo High School on November 7.  3rd Place was won in Cold Reading by Alec Beretz, who was also a finalist in Classical Monologue.  Rachel Davis was a finalist in Cold Reading and Amy Singh was a finalist in Film Monologue.  In Film Scene, Ella Buckley and Hayden Webb made the finals for their scene from Good Will Hunting, and Quincy Gutierrez, Emily Oliver and Jamie Renna placed in the finals for their scene from Clueless.


The next Drama Club meeting is Monday, November 16 at lunch in room 101.

The Improv Club will meet in room 101 every Wednesday at lunch.  Improv Club is open to all Carlsbad High School students who like to play improvisation games.  Bring your lunch and join the fun!
